Today we had a special visit from the Portland Symphony Orchestra. They taught us about woodwind and brass instruments, and we learned that they need to practice a lot to be part of an orchestra.
We listened to some very famous pieces, including "Row, row, row your boat" and "Pop!Goes the Weasel"
Please join us for our Movin' and Groovin' Kindergarten Performance on Thursday May 3rd at 9:15 in the cafeteria. The students will be preforming songs that they have been learning with Ms.Nunnelley during music class.
. We have recently started a unit on construction. Students have used many materials to construct a variety of creations. We have used play dough, popsicle sticks, blocks, beads, cut paper, etc. in the construction process. We have also been learning about the different types of construction vehicles and materials used to build real-world structures.
