Please join us for our SideXSide Wild Things Presentation. We have been working hard with our SideXSide Artists and can’t wait to share our project with you!

PSO Visits Riverton

Today we had a special visit from the Portland Symphony Orchestra. They taught us about woodwind and brass instruments, and we learned that they need to practice a lot to be part of an orchestra. 

                                                     

We listened to some very famous pieces, including "Row, row, row your boat" and "Pop!Goes the Weasel"
                                        

Kindergarten Concert

Please join us for our Movin' and Groovin' Kindergarten Performance on Thursday May 3rd at 9:15 in the cafeteria. The students will be preforming songs that they have been learning with Ms.Nunnelley during music class.

Altrusa Club Visits Kindergarten

Altrusa Club visited all four Kindergarten classes today. They talked about their ABC program, 

A-Altrusa B- Books and C- Children.  They read us a story and then we were able to choose our very own book to bring home!

                                         



  We are so lucky to have visitors from our community.

Green Eggs are the Best!!!

We loved cooking green eggs to celebrate the Dr. Seuss book "Green Eggs and Ham !"

Kindergarten on Ice!

Ms Nealey and Mrs. Kalloch's classes went to the Falmouth Family Ice Center to enjoy some indoor  winter fun!

We fell a few times but that didn't stop us from having fun and trying our best!

       .       

We even helped our friends who didn't want to skate still enjoy the ice!  We had a great trip and came back with lots to write and teach about.

Construction Unit

We have recently started a unit on construction. Students have used many materials to construct a variety of creations. We have used play dough, popsicle sticks, blocks, beads, cut paper, etc. in the construction process. We have also been learning about the different types of construction vehicles and materials used to build real-world structures.
